The large monument to Sir Christopher Hatton is now in the triforium, having being moved from the lower Islip chapel. He and his wife Alice are both buried just outside this area .

Poet and Playwright
John Gay, poet and dramatist, was buried in the south transept of Westminster Abbey. His monument was moved to the triforium and can be seen there.

Sir Lumley Robinson
Sir Lumley Robinson was buried in the nave in 1684. His monument which stood near the grave has been reduced in size and moved.

The family of Garry Howard Weston have given generously to the restoration of Westminster Abbey. A new lift to the triforium has been named the Weston tower.

Some panels carved by Arnold Quellin as part of an altarpiece made by Grinling Gibbons are on display in the Jubilee Galleries. Four statues also exist but are not on show.

Dr William Barnard, Bishop of Derry, was buried in the Islip chapel in Westminster Abbey. His white marble memorial tablet is now in the triforium.

Politician George Lindsay Johnstone was buried in the south cloister of Westminster Abbey. His monument can now be seen in the triforium galleries.

Richard Dimbleby, radio and television broadcaster, has a memorial in the south choir aisle. In the stone wall slab is inserted a bronze portrait relief.

In the west aisle of the north transept is a white marble memorial to Major General Coote Manningham. This is by sculptor John Bacon junior.
