Anniversary Choral Evensong broadcast from Abbey

BBC Radio 3 Choral Evensong celebrated its 90th anniversary this autumn with a live broadcast from the Abbey on Wednesday 28th September on the Eve of the Feast of St Michael and All Angels.

Dean of Westminster to retire in November next year

The Dean of Westminster announced today (Friday 28th September) that he will retire next year on 1st November 2019 after 13 years at Westminster Abbey.

Free entry to the Abbey for NHS staff as summer visiting hours are announced
Friday, 25th June 2021
NHS staff will be able to visit Westminster Abbey for free from July onwards. The gesture to NHS staff is an acknowledgment of all their hard work during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
