Learning and Development Manager - Ref: WA198

Westminster Abbey is seeking to recruit a Learning and Development Manager to provide proactive professional 21st century learning and development services

Closing date Monday, 13th February 2023 at 12.56 PM

Part time, Permanent (32 hours)

Salary: £36,000 per annum

(FTE £45,000 per annum)

The successful candidate will be joining the Abbey at an exciting time, as we prepare for the King’s Coronation and as we continue plowing through our priorities, which include a number of positive changes to our Abbey staffing community. You will have the appropriate qualifications and experience of working in a similarly busy and challenging role. The individual should have proven track record of training and development, including planning and delivery.

The role will offer the right candidate a range of staff benefits, including staff discount on purchases from the Westminster Abbey shop and a discount on purchases from the Benugo outlets. It will also offer full flexibility to choose working days and working hours.

Retail Assistant – Ref: WA199

Westminster Abbey Enterprises Limited is seeking to recruit a full-time Retail Assistant to join its dynamic and friendly team working in the Westminster Abbey Shops.

Full Time – Permanent (35 hours)

Salary: £23,050.06 per annum

In this role, you will provide our customers with a warm and friendly welcome, assist customers with gift decisions, process customer purchases, and help to make the shop a memorable part of a visit to Westminster Abbey. You will have experience in a busy retail environment, with great communication skills and the enthusiasm to maximise sales opportunities. You will enjoy engaging with customers from around the world, be keen to learn about and share information on our unique range of products and have the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.

Visitor Experience Assistant - Ref: WA194

Westminster Abbey is seeking to recruit two full time Visitor Experience Assistants to assist in meeting and greeting visitors, in a positive, engaging manner, ensuring a warm Abbey welcome is offered at all times. You will be responsible for offering media guides to visitors, and helping to collect them at the end of their visit. You will also ensure that media guides are not removed from the Abbey and that they are cleaned and charged appropriately, checked for any faults and that they are ready for the start of each day.

Permanent Full time (35 hours per week)

Annual Salary: £21,825.64
