The Abbey will re-open for sightseeing visitors from Friday 21st May.
In the meantime, we remain open for worship and you are welcome to join us at our daily services. We are also open for individual prayer from 10:30am - 12:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
This service follows the traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer and consists of choral music (psalms, canticles, and anthems) from the rich Anglican musical tradition, scripture readings, and prayers.
Sung daily, except on Wednesday.
Entry is via the Great West Door.
Check our coronavirus page for more information about visiting us at this time.
Due to social distancing measures we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wishes to attend. We suggest you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Abbeycast, a podcast produced at Westminster Abbey, is released occasionally to mark feast days and major anniversaries. Each episode features a reading, short address, anthem, prayers, blessing and music from our Choir.Listen now
You are surrounded by history at the Abbey, not like a museum where it’s just displayed, but here you are standing where history has happened.
