Explore 1,000 years of mystery and history in your classroom with Westminster Abbey’s after school clubs. Available to primary schools within the City of London boundary.

Story Club

Inspiring and meditative storytelling sessions on the following themes – Amazing Monks, Fantastic Beasts, World and Space Explorers, Marvellous Monarchs and Hidden Treasure.

Your pupils are invited to listen to, or participate in, the stories that have shaped Westminster Abbey over 1,000 years, with time for colouring and crafts based on the session's theme.

Suitable for: Years 2, 3 and 4

Time Ramblers

Your pupils will be led on a time-travelling adventure through five historically themed sessions, exploring Anglo-Saxon, Medieval, Tudor, Victorian, and WWI and WWII times.

Sessions feature a range of activities including crafts, games, puzzles, costumes, dancing, and even jousting (weather permitting!)

Suitable for: Years 3, 4 and 5

Costs and Eligibility

Both clubs can be booked for Mondays, Tuesday, or Wednesdays. The cost is £30 per pupil which includes all five in-school sessions plus a tour of Westminster Abbey.

Bursaries may be available upon application.

Please note, after school clubs are only for schools within the City of Westminster boundary.
