Discover the Abbey’s awe-inspiring grand organ at our Summer Organ Festival in July and August 2022.

The Abbey’s magnificent five-manual Harrison & Harrison organ takes centre stage as the Summer Organ Festival returns from 12th July to 9th August 2022.

Hear Vincent Dubois, Thomas Trotter, James O’Donnell, Peter Holder and Matthew Jorysz bring the instrument to life at our Tuesday evening concerts, find out more about the ‘king of instruments’ at our Discovery Events, and enjoy free Sunday afternoon performances from the rising stars of the organ world at our Young Artist Platform recitals.

The Summer Organ Festival takes place thanks to the generous support of David Keltner and the late Patricia Owen Keltner.

We are delighted to showcase emerging talent in our Young Artist Platform series.

Recitals take place each Sunday afternoon from Sunday 17th July to Sunday 7th August at 5.00pm and last 30 minutes. Admission is free.

17 July – Ashley Chow

Fellowship of the Royal College of Organist diploma prize-winner. Nominated to perform by the Royal College of Organists.

24 July – Charles Maxtone-Smith

Organ Scholar for Westminster Abbey Organ and Royal Academy of Music.

31 July – Laura Schlappa

University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich and winner of the Northern Ireland International Organ Competition 2020.

7 August – Charles Francis

Organ Scholar for Birmingham Cathedral and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Nominated to perform by the Keyboard Trust.
