Record series

We created the Westminster Abbey record series in 1997 to publish items of historic importance and interest relating to the Abbey. It’s an occasional series of records, calendars, lists and indexes, intended to make the contents of the Abbey’s collections available to scholars and the wider public.

The Shrine of St Edward the Confessor is one of the most powerful features of the Abbey. To stand in the presence of a man who is both a saint and a monarch is awe-inspiring.
