  Sir Edward Rogers, Comptroller of the Household of Elizabeth I, was buried in St John the Evangelist's chapel in Westminster Abbey.

  Mary was buried on 1st April 1665 but has no marker or monument. The location in the burial register says "near the Convocation door".

  On the north wall of St Margaret's church Westminster is a monument to Robert Stewart from Scotland. The burial register calls him Colonel.

  Dr Thomas Waldron, physician in ordinary to Charles II, was buried in the cloisters of Westminster Abbey on 14th February 1677.

  A memorial to author and critic John Ruskin was unveiled in Poets' Corner on 8th February 1902. The bronze roundel encloses a portrait.

  Dr John Leake, man-midwife, was buried in the north cloister on 16th August 1792 aged 65. He has no monument or inscribed gravestone.

  Bernard Smith, organist and organ maker, known as "Father Smith", was buried in St Margaret's Westminster, on the south side of the chancel, on 20th March 1708.

  Thomas Prickard was buried in the north cloister on 23rd September 1795. He was Coroner and Clerk of the Markets for the City of Westminster.

  Classical scholar Gilbert Murray, renowned for his translations of Greek plays, was buried in Poets' Corner in Westminster Abbey on 5th July 1957.

  David Livingstone, missionary and explorer, died at Ilala in the centre of Africa in May 1873. His grave is in the centre of the Nave.

  John Parsons, organist and composer, is buried in the cloisters. He was the Abbey's Master of Choristers from 1613-1623, and Organist from 1621.

  Sir John Golofre was buried by order of Richard II in the south ambulatory. His cracked gravestone, not far from the king's tomb, still exists.

  The large monument to Sir Christopher Hatton is now in the triforium, having being moved from the lower Islip chapel. He and his wife Alice are both buried just outside this area .

  The Italian musician Muzio Clementi is buried in the south cloister of the Abbey. The directors of the Philharmonic Society requested his burial here.

• Richard de Crokesley

  Richard de Crokesley was Abbot of Westminster from 1246-1258 and a stone coffin, thought to be his, was discovered in 1913.

  Sir William Constable was buried in a vault in Henry VII's chapel on 21st June 1655. But by Royal Warrant his remains were exhumed.

  Dame Mary Bond was buried on 11th August 1696 in the chapel of St Edmund in Westminster Abbey but she has no gravestone or monument.

  In the east cloister is a marble wall tablet to Christopher Steigerr of Berne in Switzerland. He was buried on 28th December 1772.

• Rachel daughter of Nicholas Brigham

  Rachel Brigham, four year old daughter of antiquary and minor poet Nicholas Brigham, was buried in the south transept on 21st June 1557.

  Sir James Leith, army officer, is buried in the centre part of the nave. He died of yellow fever in Barbados on 16th October 1816.
