The Galleries are a medieval space where room is limited so admission is by timed ticket (adults £5.00, children under 17 free), which is bought in combination with an Abbey entry ticket.

Opening times

Monday-Friday: 10:00am-3:00pm
Saturday: 9:30-2:30pm
Sunday: Galleries closed, Abbey open for services

The Galleries close one hour after the published closure time.

Where are the Galleries?

The Galleries are 16 metres (52 feet) above the floor of the Abbey. Your journey starts at the Weston Tower. See amazing views of the Palace of Westminster and the medieval Chapter House on your way up – it’s all part of the experience.

A lift is available for those with reduced mobility.
