A Service of Thanksgiving in the 30th year of South Africa’s democracy will be held in Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 16 July 2024.
The service will acknowledge the struggle for democracy that has taken place, the tireless work of campaigners to bring an end to apartheid and an opportunity to look forward.
It is part of a year-long commemorative programme, convened by the South African High Commission.
