Sir Francis Allen
Sir Francis Allen was buried in the south transept of Westminster Abbey, near William Thynne's tomb, but he had no monument and his gravestone has worn away.
He was knighted by Robert, Earl of Essex in 1591 for his military prowess and gallantry in Belgium and France and died on 26th March 1595.
