Choir School Headmaster to retire

Jonathan Milton, Headmaster of the Abbey Choir School, has announced that he will retire at the end of the current academic year in June, after seventeen years in the role.

The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, said:

Jonathan Milton has been an outstandingly successful Headmaster of Westminster Abbey Choir School for the past seventeen years. The Choir School has flourished under his clear and thoroughly committed leadership. The excellent staff offer the pupils a first class education and achieve a very high level response.
