Overview

Westminster Abbey has been the coronation church since 1066. This 16-minute video explores the Coronation Regalia through a range of fun and engaging segments including: investigating objects; visiting different places; storytelling; quizzes and games; and art and craft activities.  

This resource might be particularly useful in teaching topics including ‘Monarchs’ and ‘Kings and queens’.

This video was originally released in the weeks leading up to the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on 6th May 2023. This is the second video in a series of three. You might also choose to watch the first and third videos.
