It is announced that the Reverend Jane Sinclair, Canon of Westminster, is to take on the responsibility of the Rector of St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, in succession to the Venerable Andrew Tremlett, with effect from 1st September 2016, following his installation as Dean of Durham in the summer.

In the south cloister is a monument to politician Daniel Pulteney. His effigy reclines on a sarcophagus and he holds a book on his knee.

In the north choir aisle is a monument to Lord John Thynne, Sub Dean of Westminster. This shows his white marble life sized recumbent effigy.
