Theodore Balisy

Theodore Salomon De Balisy was buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey on 7th July 1721 but has no marker.

He was 90 years old and newspapers of the day say that he died at his apartment near St James's House and had served in the Courts of Charles I, Charles II and James II. He was Cup-bearer to the latter.

His wife was Catherine, buried on 22nd November 1715 aged 67, and their son was Joseph and daughters Mary, Katherine and Elizabeth (wife of Thomas Harper).
