Richard Perrinchief

Dr Richard Perrinchief was buried on 2nd September 1673 in Westminster Abbey "within the south monument door", presumably the south ambulatory. His wife, name unknown, had been buried on 15th June 1671. There is no monument or gravestone for him or his wife.

He was a son of Gabriel Perrinchief, a joiner of London, and was educated at Christ's Hospital school and Cambridge university. In 1646 he was ordained. In 1664 he was appointed a prebendary of Westminster, and went onto to St Paul's Cathedral in 1667 and was Archdeacon of Huntingdon in 1670. He was also rector of the united parishes of St Mildred, Poultry and St Mary Colechurch in London and was sub-almoner to Charles II. He published several works. No relations are mentioned in his will except a sister Anne (Clayton).
