Zimmerman Family

Beside the steps leading to Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey are two enamelled copper plates, in green and red, for the Zimmerman family of the USA who were generous benefactors to the restoration appeal. They were designed by Donald Buttress and painted by Kenneth Breese, 1999. The general plate reads:

The Lady Chapel was restored 1992-1995 largely thanks to the generosity of those whose names are recorded here and in the windows of the chapel
