  A large white marble monument to Elizabeth, Duchess of Northumberland stands in this chapel. This was designed by Robert Adam and sculpted by Nicholas Read.

  Colonel James Hamilton, and the 6th and 7th Earls of Abercorn are buried in the Abbey.

  Sir Philip Howard was buried in St John the Baptist's chapel on 15th April 1686. His name is inscribed on a modern stone.
