  Mary Tudor was the daughter of Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon. She was crowned in the Abbey on 1st October 1553 and lies buried with Elizabeth I.

• Mansell Family

  Several members of the Mansell family of Glamorgan in south Wales are buried in Westminster Abbey, including Thomas, Edward, Henry, Mary, Francis and Elizabeth.

• Grand Duchess Elizabeth

  A statue to this modern martyr, Grand Duchess Elizabeth of Hesse-Darmstadt, was unveiled in July 1998 and stands above the west entrance to Westminster Abbey.

• Edward Wetenhall

  Priest/Minister, Physician and Doctor

  In the south transept of Westminster Abbey is the grave of Bishop Wetenhall. His son Edward, a doctor, has a monument, by William Woodman, nearby.

• Edmund Hooper and family

  Edmund Hooper, organist and master of the choristers at Westminster Abbey, was buried in the cloisters of the Abbey on 16th July 1621.

• Gell Family

  Members of the Gell family, including Daniel, Anthony, William Egerton, John Henry and Katherine, are buried or memorialised in the Abbey precincts.
