    Margaret Radcliffe or Ratcliffe was a favourite maid of honour to Elizabeth I. She died at Richmond Palace and was buried in St Margaret's church.

    Politician

    Robert Benson, Baron Bingley of Bingley in Yorkshire, politician, was buried on 14th April 1731 in St Paul's chapel in Westminster Abbey.

    Statesman

    John Pym, politician in the time of Cromwell, died in 1643. He was buried in Westminster Abbey but his remains were exhumed at the Restoration.

    In the south cloister is a monument to politician Daniel Pulteney. His effigy reclines on a sarcophagus and he holds a book on his knee.
