A Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving on Remembrance Sunday was held at Westminster Abbey on Sunday 13th November 2016.
The service was sung by the Choir of Westminster Abbey conducted by James O'Donnell, Organist and Master of the Choristers.

President of Indonesia visits Abbey

The President of the Republic of Indonesia laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday 31st October 2012, as part of his official State Visit to the United Kingdom as the guest of Her Majesty The Queen.
The Dean escorted the President on a short tour of the Abbey before inviting him to sign the Distinguished Visitors' Book.

A joint celebration of Solemn Vespers

The choirs of Westminster Abbey and the Roman Catholic Westminster Cathedral will sing together at the Cathedral in Victoria Street on Friday 7th May 2010 at 5.00pm for a joint celebration of Solemn Vespers.
During Edwardtide in October they join for Evensong at the Abbey.

Abbey mourns the Reverend Jane Sinclair

The Abbey today mourns the loss of The Reverend Jane Sinclair, former Rector of St Margaret’s and Canon of Westminster, who has died.
Jane retired in April 2020 after five and a half years at the Abbey during which time she was a well-loved and deeply valued member of the Abbey community.
