  Several young children of Sir Stephen Fox (1627-1716) of Farley in Wiltshire are buried in the cloisters. He was a Member of Parliament for Salisbury.

  Cyril Theodore Henry Dams was Minor Canon and Precentor at Westminster Abbey from 1951-1963 and Deputy Minor Canon from 1968-1973.

• Thomas & William Cecil, Earls of Exeter

  Politician and Soldier

  Thomas Cecil, Earl of Exeter, his first wife, two daughters and his son are buried in a vault in St John the Baptist's chapel.

• John Howard, Earl of Stafford & family

  In the chapel of St Edmund is a marble monument to John Paul Howard, 4th Earl of Stafford. The monument is by Robert Chambers.

• Sir Clifton Wintringham

  Physician and Doctor

  In the west aisle of the north transept is a monument to physician Sir Clifton Wintringham. This shows a mourning woman leaning on a sarcophagus.

• Robert Lowe, Viscount Sherbrooke

  Politician

  Politician Robert Lowe (Viscount Sherbrooke) has a bust in the eastern porch of St Margaret's Church Westminster. He was born at Bingham, Nottinghamshire in 1811.

• Thomas Finny

  Thomas Finny, an assistant carpenter, was buried in the Dark Cloister area, near the Undercroft door. He worked for the Abbey from at least 1753.

  The large monument to Sir Christopher Hatton is now in the triforium, having being moved from the lower Islip chapel. He and his wife Alice are both buried just outside this area .

  In the north choir aisle of Westminster Abbey is a cartouche near the grave of Charles Williams. Sir Charles Hanbury-Williams is also buried here.

  Sir Gilbert Lort and his sister Dame Elizabeth Campbell are buried in the north transept of Westminster Abbey.

  The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, was installed as an Honorary Canon of Chichester Cathedral at Evensong on Saturday 20th January 2018.

  King George V was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 22nd June 1911. He supported proposals for the burial of the Unknown Warrior in the Abbey.

• Sir Godfrey Kneller

  Artist

  Sir Godfrey Kneller is the only portrait painter to be commemorated here. His monument is by sculptor J.M. Rysbrack after a design by Kneller.

  The ashes of Burke St John Trend, Lord Trend of Greenwich and his wife are buried in the east cloister of Westminster Abbey.
