The Reverend Canon Martin Seeley, Principal, Westcott House, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich; and the Reverend Canon Michael Beasley, Director of Mission in the Diocese of Oxford, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Hertford in the Diocese of St Albans at a Eucharist at Westminster Abbey on Ascension day, Thursday 14th May 2015.

A new building – to be named The King Charles III Sacristy in honour of HM The King – will be constructed to house state-of-the-art welcome, security and ticketing facilities, allowing the Abbey itself to be preserved in all its beauty and wonder as a sacred space.

The Reverend Canon John Holbrook, Rector of Wimborne Minster, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Brixworth in the Diocese of Peterborough, and The Very Reverend Jonathan Meyrick, Dean of Exeter, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Lynn in the Diocese of Norwich at a Eucharist at Westminster Abbey on Ascension day, 2nd June 2011.
