  The memorial to actress and singer Hannah Pritchard was moved from Poets' Corner to the triforium and can be seen there. Sculptor Richard Hayward.

• William Murray, Lord Mansfield

  Statesman, Lawyer, Abolitionist, Politician and Diplomat

  William Murray, Earl of Mansfield was buried in the north transept and has a large monument by John Flaxman.

  John was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 27th May 1199. It seems he displayed "unseemly levity" during the ceremony and left before receiving the Sacrament.

  In the west cloister of Westminster Abbey is a memorial, with a braille version of the inscription, for Ian Fraser, Baron Fraser of Lonsdale. Blinded at the battle of the Somme he devoted his life to the welfare of visually impaired people.

  Poet and Priest/Minister

  A memorial stone to Gerard Manley Hopkins, poet, was unveiled on 8th December 1975 in Poets' Corner in Westminster Abbey by the Duke of Norfolk.

• Robert Henry Charles

  Priest/Minister

  Dr Robert Henry Charles was Canon of Westminster from 1913 and Archdeacon from 1919 and is buried with his wife in the north cloister.

• Richard Brinsley Sheridan

  Playwright and Statesman

  Richard Brinsley Sheridan, statesman, dramatist and wit, was buried in Poets’ Corner. The inscription on his gravestone was re-cut in 1956 but is now faint.
