• Edward IV

  Edward IV was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 28th June 1461. His queen Elizabeth Woodville was crowned in 1465. Their infant daughter Margaret has a small monument in St Edward's chapel.

• Edward I and Eleanor of Castile

  Edward and Eleanor's coronation took place on 19th August 1274. Both are buried in St Edward's chapel in Westminster Abbey and Eleanor has a fine effigy.

  Reverend Edward Aspinwall was buried in the south transept on 8th August 1732. But he seems never to have had an inscribed gravestone or monument.

  Lady Susanna Williams was buried "near Sir Edward Spragge" on 26th September 1689. This was most probably in the north ambulatory but neither have markers.

• Jane, Lady Clifford

  Jane, Lady Clifford's monument stands in the chapel of St Nicholas. The marble monument may be ascribed to sculptor John Bushnell, on stylistic grounds.

• Elizabeth Palmer & Matthew Johnson

  In the north cloister of Westminster Abbey is a marble wall tablet to Elizabeth Palmer, her grand daughter Frances and grandson Mathew Johnson.

• Requiem Mass Marks Start of Lady Chapel Festival

  The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, celebrated Requiem Mass in the Lady Chapel, Westminster Abbey, on Thursday 21st April 2016, the Anniversary of the Death of King Henry VII.

• Edward Harley, 2nd Earl of Oxford

  Edward Harley, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Mortimer and Baron Harley of Wigmore is buried in the vault of the Duke of Newcastle.

• Elizabeth Corbett and Mildred Hotham

  On the north wall of St Margaret's is a tablet to Elizabeth Corbett and Lady Mildred Hotham. The epitaph verses were composed by Alexander Pope.

• Elizabeth Hollingworth

  In the area called the Dark Cloister, leading to the Little Cloister, is a wall tablet to Elizabeth Hollingworth, widow of William.

  Dr John Heylyn and his wife and daughter are buried in the south transept. The gravestone inscription is now very faint except for Elizabeth's name.

  In the north cloister is the gravestone of sisters Elizabeth and Jane Joye. Elizabeth was the eldest child of James Joye.

  Writer and Poet

  The poet Robert Browning is buried in Poets' Corner. His wife, poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning, is buried in Florence, but is memorialised in Westminster Abbey.

• Edward V & Richard Duke of York

  The presumed remains of Edward V and Richard Duke of York are buried in the Abbey in a white marble sarcophagus designed by Christopher Wren.

  Elizabeth Claypole, favourite daughter of Oliver Cromwell, is buried in Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey. A small stone marks her burial place.

  Elizabeth, a daughter of Robert Dinwiddie, Lt. Governor of Virginia USA, was buried in St Margaret's but her memorial is now hidden behind the organ.
