Self-led visits

You are welcome to book your school group in for a self-led visit to explore at your own pace. We have a range of downloadable trails which can help your students learn more about this amazing place. Discover more in our downloadable teachers’ pack.

We offer a specially developed route map and themed trails to help you lead a successful self-led visit. Please also read our information pack before you visit.

Group sizes

If you're bringing a Key Stage 1 class, you'll need at least one teacher or helper to every five pupils – and for Key Stage 2 classes, at least one teacher or helper to every ten pupils.

Large groups of students will need to be split, with the entry times staggered to avoid overcrowding.

Prices

EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students
£2 per pupil

Adults accompanying EYFS and Key Stage 1 students
One adult per five pupils – free
Any other adults – £14 each

Adults accompanying Key Stage 2 students
One adult per ten pupils – free
Any other adults – £14 each
