Visit us as part of your trip to London. We welcome overseas school and university groups for self-led tours on weekdays from September to July. In August, all overseas school groups will need to visit with a Blue Badge Guide.

Self-led tour

Teachers, group leaders and students can take self-led tours of the Abbey. A route map and a number of themed-trails are available to use on your tour.

Every ten students must always have at least one accompanying teacher. One teacher for every ten students will pay the child rate. Additional teachers pay more.


Student (6-18 years) – £6
Teacher accompanying 10 students (6-18 years) – £6
Additional teachers - £14

Student (19+ years) – £14
Teacher accompanying 10 students (19+ years) - £14
Additional teachers - £18

Guided tours

Blue Badge Guides are professionals who offer private tours in more than 30 languages. You can book a Blue Badge Guide through the British Guild of Tourist Guides, or Guide London.

Blue Badge Guides are booked and charged separately.

These tours are not subject to a concessionary rate.

Maximum group number: 30 plus guide.
