Musician
Gervase Price, musician, and his wife Martha are buried in the north aisle of the nave, not far from the grave of Ben Jonson.

William & John Herschel
Scientist, Musician, Mathematician and Astronomer
A memorial stone to William Herschel, astronomer and musician, was unveiled in the nave in 1954. The grave of his son Sir John is nearby.

Philanthropist
In the centre aisle of the nave, near the west door, is a stone commemorating the temporary burial of George Peabody, American merchant and philanthropist.

Musician and Composer
William Heather (or Heyther), composer and singer, was buried in the south transept on 1st August 1627 but had no marker until 1926.

Soldier
Sir James Outram, Baronet, is buried in the nave. He was an officer in the East India Company and spent most of his life there.

John Ireland was Dean of Westminster from 1816-1842 and is buried in the south transept in the grave of his lifelong friend William Gifford.
