  A memorial stone to Welsh poet Dylan Thomas was unveiled on 1st March 1982. It lies between memorials to Lord Byron and George Eliot.

  In the west cloister is a monument to John Laurence (Lawrence). This was originally in the south walk, where he was presumably buried, but was moved.

  Walter H. Annenberg was a major donor to the Westminster Abbey Restoration Appeal and especially to the restoration of the chapel of Henry VII.

  A framed panel, painted blue with white lettering in the south cloister of Westminster Abbey, records the generous donors to Westminster Abbey Choir.

• Lambert Osbaldeston

  Lambert Osbaldeston (or Osbolston), Head Master of Westminster School, was buried in the south aisle on 7th October 1659 but he has no monument.

• Edward Herbert

  On a pillar in the north nave aisle is a white marble cartouche to Edward Herbert. This shows a winged cherub head at the base.

  In the south aisle of St Margaret's church is a memorial to American bishop Phillips Brooks, consisting of three panels of opus sectile work. He wrote the words to O Little Town of Bethlehem.

  In the south choir aisle is a tablet for Captain William Julius. The border is decorated with flowers, cherub heads and a winged death’s head.

  Walter de Wenlok was Abbot of Westminster from 31st December 1283 until his death on 25th December 1307. He was buried beneath the Cosmati pavement.

  John Welles, 1st Viscount Welles, K.G. was buried in Westminster Abbey and early tomb lists give the location as the old lady Chapel.

  Charles MacCarthy, Viscount Muskerry was buried in the north ambulatory but he has no monument or marker. He was killed fighting the Dutch.

  William Sholto Douglas, 1st Baron Douglas of Kirtleside, Marshal of the Royal Air Force is commemorated in the RAF chapel in Westminster Abbey.
