Historian
Sulcard was a monk at Westminster Abbey from around the 1050s and wrote a history of the monastery. He may have come from Rochester, Kent.

Edward I and Eleanor of Castile
Edward and Eleanor's coronation took place on 19th August 1274. Both are buried in St Edward's chapel in Westminster Abbey and Eleanor has a fine effigy.
