Voice and Verse Workshop: Book Binding
Discover the historic craft of bookbinding and try your hand at assembling your own book in this one-day workshop.
Learn to make a Quarter Binding, a hardcover book covered in two materials under the expert supervision of a Book Works instructor.
Throughout the workshop, participants will work to design, assemble and bind their own notebook which can be taken home at the end of the day.
This course is designed for beginners, or those with a little experience who would like to be able to make books at home with minimal equipment.
All tools and materials will be provided. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day, but attendees will need to bring their own lunches.
This course will involve a short visit to Poets' Corner.
