Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Galleries in Westminster Abbey after hours.

High above the Abbey floor, come to explore many of the Abbey’s greatest treasures in the grand setting of the 13th century triforium. Discover objects that tell the stories of 1,000 years of history, all offering striking examples of historic craftsmanship.

For this evening only, hear more about some of the fascinating objects on display in our programme of talks. Enjoy the view of the empty Abbey after hours and take time to explore the collections at your own pace.

Age suitability

This event is for adults and young people over the age of 16, please see our family pages for information and events to explore this theme as a family. 

Timings

​​You are welcome to attend Evensong at 5:00pm before the event begins. Doors will open at 6:30pm. The programmed activity will begin at 6:45pm. Last entry at 8:00pm. The Galleries will remain open until 8:30pm. 

Meeting location 

This event will meet by the Cloister Entrance to Westminster Abbey in Dean's Yard. 

Access and security 

Please have your ticket ready to show our staff (either printed or on your mobile phone).

On your arrival, your bag will be searched and we ask you not to bring any large items with you (for example suitcases, large backpacks or folding bicycles) as these will not be allowed inside and we are unable to store them for you.
