Shhh… there are secrets hidden in the Abbey! Step into a world of mystery, puzzles and spy training at our Covert and Classified Family Day.

Do you have what it takes to be a secret agent? Join us for our Covert and Classified Family Day, where curious minds and keen eyes are put to the test!

Step into our spy school, crack clues, listen to puzzling stories, and take part in exciting hands-on activities for all budding agents inspired by historic spies like Aphra Behn and Queen Elizabeth I’s network of spies – some of whom are buried in the Abbey.

This family day is perfect for children aged 3+ (and their grown-ups) who love a bit of mystery, problem-solving, and playful learning. Whether you're a master of disguise or just starting your spy training, there’s plenty to discover.

Best of all, it’s supported by fantastic heritage partners from across London, so expect surprises, stories, and secrets galore.

Remember: keep your eyes open and your mission quiet. Your adventure awaits!

Age suitability

This activity is suitable for children aged 3+.

All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.
