St Margaret's Chorister Experience Day
Find out what it’s like to be a member of the St Margaret’s Choristers of Westminster Abbey – ideal for girls currently in Year 6.
The St Margaret’s Choristers is our choir for girls in Years 7 – 12. The choir is open to girls from any school or background, and we are looking for girls currently in Year 6 to join us from September 2025.
The choir comes together three times a week to rehearse and sing the weekly 6:00pm service in St Margaret's Church, as well as regular Wednesday Evensong services in Westminster Abbey. We offer members free singing lessons and a generous scholarship.
Come behind the scenes at our Chorister Experience Sunday to find out more. For Year 6 girls, a love of singing and an enthusiasm for music are all that is required; no previous experience of singing in a choir is necessary.
The day will include the opportunity for girls to:
· Find out more about being a member of the St Margaret's Choristers
· Join the choir in a rehearsal
· Ask questions and find out about what’s involved
At least one parent or guardian should plan to stay in the church during the session.
