Sir Charles Rich

Sir Charles Rich, 3rd Baronet, of Beccles in Suffolk, was buried on 19th October 1706 in St Margaret's church Westminster. The burial register entry describes him as "Captain of the Feversham man of war". No gravestone remains and he has no memorial.

He was a son of Sir Robert Rich, M.P. and a Lord of the Admiralty. His brother Sir Robert was a Member of Parliament, Field Marshal and Governor of Chelsea Hospital. He succeeded Charles who had no heir. Other brothers were Nathaniel and Cholmondeley.
