Richard Warburton

Richard Warburton, descended from the ancient family of Warburton in Cheshire, was buried in the south cloister of Westminster Abbey on 29th October 1771 aged 80. But he has no readable gravestone or monument.

He was the eldest son of Richard Warburton of King's County in Ireland, Member of Parliament for Portarlington, and his wife Elizabeth (Pigott). His brother was Peter. The young Richard was M.P. for Queen's County and died unmarried at his house in Jermyn Street, London.
