Reimerd Watkins

Reimerd Watkins was buried on 7th September 1719 in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey, aged 47. He was the son of Peter and Anne of Hamburg. His brother was Christopher and his sisters Anna-Margaret and Elizabeth (wife of Richard Haines). His wife Mary was buried with him on 1st November 1743. Their daughter Philippa died unmarried and was buried on 13th September 1751. Daughter Anne was buried on 7th September 1738 aged 30. She had married firstly Mr Mann and secondly Peter Joseph Molloy. None of the family have marked graves or memorials.

Son Reimerd was buried with his father on 8th October 1742, aged 42. In 1727 he married Anne Faussett. Their son Charles was baptised at St Margaret's church Westminster in 1744 aged 12 and was buried on 30th July 1770. He was of Ware in Hertfordshire. His wife Anne (Bach) was buried with him on 26th October 1807. They seem to have had no children.
