Mrs William Quartermain

The wife (name not recorded in the burial register) of Dr William Quartermain, one of the King's Physicians, was buried in "the south part of the cross aisle" ie. south transept of Westminster Abbey on 15th July 1661. But she has no marker or monument. She was William's first wife.

He was educated at Oxford, son of Walter of Shabbington in Buckinghamshire. Mary, daughter of Sir Thomas Dyke, was his second wife. William was buried in St Martin in the Fields church in London on 11th June 1667.
