Gift membership
Westminster Abbey Association membership is a fantastic gift that lasts for a year, giving unlimited entry, access to exclusive events and other benefits.

Evensong
This service follows the traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer and consists of choral music from the Anglican tradition, scripture readings, and prayers.

Morning Prayer
Brief service of psalms, readings from Holy Scripture, and prayers. Said from Monday to Saturday in St Faith’s Chapel. Entry via the Great West Door.

Holy Communion
Service in which the Holy Scriptures are read, prayers offered, and bread and wine consecrated and received as the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Evening Prayer
Service following the traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer of psalms, readings from Holy Scripture, prayers, and a hymn sung by the congregation.

Sung Eucharist
This is a service in which Holy Scriptures are read, a sermon is preached, prayers are offered, and bread and wine are consecrated and received.

A ballot opens 9th May for tickets for the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Professor Stephen Hawking and the burial of his ashes.

Free entry to the Abbey for NHS staff as summer visiting hours are announced
Friday, 25th June 2021
NHS staff will be able to visit Westminster Abbey for free from July onwards. The gesture to NHS staff is an acknowledgment of all their hard work during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Westminster Abbey takes part in Cathedrals at Night

The Abbey will be open from 4.30pm - 7.00pm (last entry at 6.00pm) as part of Cathedrals at Night, a project that will see all 42 Church of England cathedrals, as well as the cathedrals in Wales and the Isle of Man, open their doors free of charge.
