Field Marshal Herbert Charles Onslow Plumer, 1st Viscount Plumer G.C.B. is buried in the chapel of St George at the west end of the nave.
He died on 16th July 1932 and his funeral took place at the Abbey after a procession from the Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks.

John Jellicoe, 1st Earl Jellicoe (1859-1935) has a stall plate as a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath in the Lady Chapel.

A memorial window for the Young Men's Christian Association (founded by Sir George Williams) was unveiled in the nave of Westminster Abbey in 1921.
His funeral was at St Paul's Cathedral and he is buried in the crypt there with a monument with a bust nearby.

Priest/Minister
Stephen Marshall, clergyman, was buried in the south transept in November 1655 but his body was exhumed, together with other followers of Cromwell, in 1661.
He died on 19th November 1655 in Ipswich and was given a fine funeral in the Abbey.

The memorial window to Sir William Siemens was taken down in 1926 so that a series of windows depicting kings and abbots could be erected.
His funeral service was held at the Abbey but he is buried at Kensal Green cemetery in London.

In the south transept of Westminster Abbey is a grey fossil marble tablet to William Twisse, preacher in the Cromwellian period, and three others.
In 1643 he was elected to the Westminster Assembly of Divines and he died on 20th July 1646, being given a state funeral at the Abbey.

Henry John Temple, Viscount Palmerston, Prime Minister, is buried with his wife in the north transept. There is an over life-size statue of him nearby.
He died at Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire on 18th October 1865 and had a state funeral.

In the nave is a stained glass window to the memory of Donald Smith, Lord Strathcona, philanthropist. The window was designed by Sir Ninian Comper.
His funeral was held at the Abbey and he is buried in Highgate cemetery.

William (Thomson), 1st Baron Kelvin of Largs, physicist, mathematician, engineer and inventor, was buried in the nave of Westminster Abbey. He was born in Belfast.
The funeral was on 23rd December and he lies to the south of Sir Isaac Newton's grave in the nave.
