  Redmond Simpson, musician, was buried in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey on 2nd February 1787 but he has no monument or grave marker.

  Ellen Bust, nee Griffith, was buried in the north cloister on 28th April 1697. A monument on the wall nearby was removed some time ago.

  Johann Peter Salomon, musician, is buried in the cloisters. An inscription for him was cut on the grave of fellow musician William Shield in 1938.

  On the wall of the north cloister is a white marble tablet to Harriett Benthall. Her husband John attended Westminster School as a King's Scholar.

  Dr William Buchan is buried in the west cloister with his son Alexander. There is a marble tablet with a relief portrait on the wall.

  The Reverend Luke Flintoft, composer, was a Minor Canon of Westminster Abbey from 1720-1727 and was buried in the south cloister on 6th November 1727.

  The ashes of Harry Carter and his wife lie in the west cloister. He was Clerk of Works at the Abbey responsible for maintenance.

  In the south cloister is a plain square memorial commemorating all those in the service of the Crown who died defending freedom and peace.

  Nicholas Oudart was buried in the west cloister on 21st December 1681 but has no marker. He was born at Malines (Mechlin) in Belgium.

  In the north cloister is a tablet near the grave of the Reverend David Walter Morgan. He was a Lay Vicar in the Abbey choir.

  Scipio Le Squire (or Squyer), antiquary and collector, was buried in the east cloister on 29th September 1659, near his friend Arthur Agard.

  On the wall of the west cloister is a modern memorial, designed by J. Peter Foster in slate and white marble, to Frances Louisa Parnell.

  Thomas Ravenscroft was buried in the north cloister of the Abbey opposite the wall monument to Christopher Chapman. His grave inscription is no longer visible.

  Roger Nightingale, one of the Gentlemen of His Majesty's Chapel Royal 1619-1642 and 1660-1661 and Confessor to the King's Household, was buried in the cloisters.

  The ashes of Sir Robert Arundell Hudson are buried in the west cloister. He was a son of Robert Hudson and his wife Jessie.

  On the wall of the east cloister is a small marble cartouche to Elizabeth Abrahall, wife of Gilbert Abrahall a trusted servant to Queen Anne.

  In the east cloister of Westminster Abbey near the entrance to the Chapter House is the grave of Margaret Grant. The inscription has been re-cut.

  Colonel Thomas Garth was buried in the south aisle of the nave on 11th January 1731, aged 66. He has no monument or grave inscription.
