• Happy ending for Brontë memorial in 85th anniversary year

  The Brontë memorial in Westminster Abbey has been amended to include the diaereses (dots) over the ‘e’ of the names of the literary sisters, Charlotte, Emily and Anne, which have been missing from the memorial since its installation 85 years ago, following an approach from journalist and Brontë historian Sharon Wright.

  The Choir of St Margaret's Church made their own contribution to the Trafalgar anniversary celebrations on 23rd October by singing music from Haydn's 'Nelson Mass' during the 11 o'clock Eucharist service.
