    Philanthropist

    Christopher B. Mitchell was a donor to the Westminster Abbey restoration appeal, which culminated in the restoration of Henry VII's Lady Chapel in 1995.

    Soldier

    Colonel Thomas Becker was buried in St Margaret's Church Westminster on 27th April 1716. There is no monument or marker for him in the church.

    Sir Charles Rich, naval captain, was buried in St Margaret's Church Westminster in 1706 but has no memorial.

    Westminster Abbey will be the spectacular backdrop for a light installation as part of Lumiere London, the city's first major light festival. The exterior of the Abbey will be lit each evening of the festival, from Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th January 2016.
