• The Princess Royal Attends Service for Sir Ernest Shackleton and his Men

  Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, patron of the United Kingdom Antarctic Heritage Trust, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence KCVO CB, attended a Centenary Service of Thanksgiving for the Courage and Endurance of the polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton CVO and his Men at Westminster Abbey at Noon on Friday 20th May 2016.

  The Reverend Canon John Holbrook, Rector of Wimborne Minster, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Brixworth in the Diocese of Peterborough, and The Very Reverend Jonathan Meyrick, Dean of Exeter, was ordained and consecrated Bishop of Lynn in the Diocese of Norwich at a Eucharist at Westminster Abbey on Ascension day, 2nd June 2011.

• Dr Rowan Williams Leads Celebrations for the Bicentenary of the National Society

  The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dr Rowan Williams paid tribute to the work of the National Society at a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate the Bicentenary of the National Society on Friday 14th October at 12 noon.
