The embalmed body of Prince John of Eltham was buried in Westminster Abbey in 1337 and he has a fine monument. He was born at Eltham manor in Kent.
There was originally an elaborate canopy over the tomb but this was broken at a funeral in 1776 and later removed.

Archibald MacGougan was buried in the west cloister of Westminster Abbey on 2nd February 1814 aged 39. Mary was buried on 5th January 1814.
Mary Ann, Archibald's niece, lived at 36 Howland Street and was aged 22 at her death, rather than 20, according to the Abbey funeral book.

He was born at Windsor Castle and sang in the choir there (he was present at Edward VII's funeral).

Near the west door of Westminster Abbey is a statue to politician and philanthropist Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 7th Earl of Shaftesbury. It was unveiled in 1888
His funeral was held in the Abbey but he is buried at Wimborne.

Gervase Price, musician, and his wife Martha are buried in the north aisle of the nave, not far from the grave of Ben Jonson.

John Pym, politician in the time of Cromwell, died in 1643. He was buried in Westminster Abbey but his remains were exhumed at the Restoration.
His magnificent funeral was heldĀ a few days later and both Houses of Parliament followed the coffin.
