  In St Margaret's Church is a tablet in memory of James Rumsey, West Virginia, inventor, who was buried in the churchyard on 24th December 1792.

• Ignatius Sancho

  Writer, Musician, Playwright and Abolitionist

  Ignatius Sancho, composer, writer, slave abolitionist and actor, died in 1780 and has a memorial in St Margaret's Westminster.

• Humphrey Salwey

  Politician

  Salwey was buried in the north ambulatory of Westminster Abbey in 1652. But his body was exhumed, with other followers of Oliver Cromwell, in 1661.

• Theodore Price

  Priest/Minister

  Dr Theodore Price, prebendary and Sub-Dean of Westminster, died on 15th December 1631 (apparently as a Roman Catholic) and was buried in the south transept.

• William & Alexander Buchan

  Dr William Buchan is buried in the west cloister with his son Alexander. There is a marble tablet with a relief portrait on the wall.

• Nicholas Oudart

  Nicholas Oudart was buried in the west cloister on 21st December 1681 but has no marker. He was born at Malines (Mechlin) in Belgium.

• David Walter Morgan

  In the north cloister is a tablet near the grave of the Reverend David Walter Morgan. He was a Lay Vicar in the Abbey choir.

  On a pillar in St Margaret's church is a marble cartouche for master carpenter John Churchill. He served the King and later Queen Anne.

  Arabella Susanna, Lady Dungannon was buried on 15th December 1708 at the entrance to St Andrew's chapel near the monument to Henry, Lord Norris.

  The Reverend John Doughty and wife Catherine are buried in the north ambulatory. His widow later married Henry Croone (buried in the Abbey cloister).

  George Stone, archbishop of Armagh, was buried in the north aisle of the nave on 28th December 1764. He was born on 7th January 1708.

  Writer and Priest/Minister

  The Reverend Dr William Cole, classical scholar and author, was a Prebendary at Westminster Abbey from 1792 and was buried in the north choir aisle.

• John Osbaldeston

  John Osbaldeston was buried in the south transept of Westminster Abbey, not far from the grave of a fellow royal servant Thomas Chiffinch.

  Anne Wemyss (or Wemis) was buried in the east cloister. A small oval white marble tablet was erected for her in the south choir aisle.

  In the south cloister is a gravestone to three members of the Medley family. The mother lived in New Peter Street, near the Abbey.

  William Gifford, critic and editor of Quarterly Review, is buried in the south transept. His friend John Ireland, Dean of Westminster, was buried with him.

  Lewis Prowde (or Proud) was buried on 16th January 1617 at the entrance to St Benedict's chapel in Westminster Abbey but nothing marks his grave.

  Agneta, widow of Colonel Robert Phillips (or Phelips) of Montacute, was buried on 5th September 1691 near the Quire door but she has no memorial.

  Moses Snow, singer and composer, was buried in the north cloister on 24th December 1702. He seems to have had no inscribed gravestone.
