    On the south wall of St Margaret's church Westminster is an oval tablet to former Rector and Canon of Westminster Charles Hugh Egerton Smyth.

  • Actors' Church Union

    Actor

    In 1920 the Actors' Church Union presented a hearse cloth or funeral pall to Westminster Abbey. This was given in memory of members who had died in the Great War.

  • Verger-guided tours

    The Reverend Canon Dr Graham Kings, Vicar of St Mary's Church, Islington, was ordained to the episcopate as the new Suffragan Bishop of Sherborne by the Archbishop of Canterbury and other bishops at a Eucharist in the Abbey on Wednesday 24th June 2009.
