Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir to sing at Abbey

The Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir sings at Evensong at the Abbey today, Monday 7th May as the finale of their European tour – a rare opportunity to hear one of Europe’s finest cathedral choirs, and music from the Danish choral tradition including works by Waldemar Åhlén, David Sandstrøm and Carl Nielsen.
No tickets are required.

Abbey opens to visitors after longest closure since 1953 Coronation

Visitors will be welcomed back to Westminster Abbey on 11th July, after closure due to the coronavirus pandemic – the longest period of time it has been closed to visitors since the coronation.

Free Sunday organ recitals resume

Regular Sunday organ recitals begin again at the Abbey this week after a five-month break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Places at the recitals are free, but to ensure social distancing, tickets must be booked in advance.
