  Statesman

  Henry John Temple, Viscount Palmerston, Prime Minister, is buried with his wife in the north transept. There is an over life-size statue of him nearby.

• Henry Stewart, Lord Darnley

  A kneeling figure of Lord Darnley can be seen on the monument of his mother Margaret Douglas, in the south aisle of Henry VII's chapel.

• Henry Frederick, Duke of Cumberland

  Sailor

  Henry Frederick, Duke of Cumberland and Strathern and Earl of Dublin was buried in the Hanoverian vault below the central aisle of Henry VII's chapel.

  In the south choir aisle is a memorial to hymn writer Henry Francis Lyte. The alabaster tablet was unveiled on 16th November 1947.

  The ashes of Sir Henry Irving, actor, lie in Poets' Corner. John Henry Brodribb (1838-1905) assumed the surname of Irving by royal licence in 1889.
