  • Abbey Celebrates Dean’s Ordination Anniversary

    Tuesday, 5th July 2016

    A Sung Eucharist to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Ordination to the Priesthood of the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, was held at Westminster Abbey on Monday 4th July.

    Mary, wife of James, 2nd Baron Waldegrave and later Earl Waldegrave, was buried in the middle aisle of the nave on 27th January 1719.
